Coprophagy in Dogs
Posted by Author under Dogs, Pet Health, Pet Care
A fairly common dog behavior problem is the eating of their own feces, also known as coprophagy. Some will consider this normal behavior, but it can sometimes lead to health problems, both for the dog and its owner.
Sometimes, coprophagy is caused by of lack of vitamins, minerals or other necessary elements in a diet of an animal. Therefore, it’s important to get the dog checked at a vet. Consult the vet about your pets diet, and ask him to recommend a coprophagy medication if needed.
